I'm going to do it!
I will finish the 10.3 mile run in honor of Lilian Grace on April 25.
So what is your job? To keep me accountable. I currently don't have any running buddies- and I am a little chicken to get started in our town's running club- from the looks of the pictures they are skinny, fit, experienced runners- which I am not!!! But, I have a plan...plotted out on my calendars in red ink...
We quit the gym to save money...so I will be running outdoors or on with the Wii Fit. Outdoor running is only a problem for 2 reasons...#1 I don't have a double running stroller and so I can't take my children with me and #2 it is flippin' cold outside- so I can't take the kids anyway...which means I must run in the morning before they wake or after they are asleep-- both times will be dark.
So... you have tall shoes to fill. I already have talked myself out of three runs because of the cold dark awaiting. I will accomplish this goal to honor Miss Lily's 103 days on this earth. I have put together my running playlist...a mixture of fast, motivating songs. Tomorrow is 3 miles...
I'm going to do it!

Memory Verse #1
I can hardly believe that another new year is already here, but I am very excited about what God has in store for me and my family in the coming year.
I really believe that God is going to do some amazing things in the year 2011!
In 2009, I joined the Siesta Scripture Memory Team (SSMT) for a one year plan of scripture memorization with Beth Moore. God used His Word to speak to my heart in amazing ways that year! I have known for some time that I needed to be memorizing scripture again and for awhile now have been looking forward to the beginning of a new year. I found in the year 2009 that the accountability of memorizing scripture with other ladies was such an encouragement.
So.....I decided to join the Siesta Scripture Memory Team again this year. I've got my index cards and and I am ready to make my first entry for 2011 with these verses:
I would encourage any of you that might not have been planning to participate in this to hop over and check out Beth's blog and learn more about the SSMT.
COME ON...It's not too late to jump in and we'll ALL hide God's Word in our hearts in 2011!

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded,
YOU NEED TO PERSEVERE so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.
